Combat Archery, also known as Tag Archery, combines elements of paintball, archery and dodgeball to form a massively adrenaline filled group activity. 

Our Battle Zone holds a selection of inflatable bunkers and barricades allowing you to take cover and form ambushes against opposing players.  When ready, select an arrow and fire towards an opponent – a direct hit scores points.  This thrilling, action packed activity is suitable for adults of all ages and abilities.  It is designed to be a user friendly and safe activity.

Group Activities have been running events since 2010 and are launching this new activity in 2019.  Our experienced events team will provide you with outstanding customer service and the best combat archery experience.

Bristol Combat Archery Event Information

This activity will run for approximately 1 hour.  Two teams of equal players oppose one another across our Battlezone full of inflatable bunkers and barricades.  Players may use these structures as cover from enemy fire!  Next to each bunker are 5 target cones, each holding a ball.

There are several objectives linked to each game.  Points are scored by hitting an opposing player, which eliminates them from the game, as well as hitting one of the aforementioned target cones.  A team can return an eliminated player to the Battlezone by catching an arrow. 

Two umpires take control of the game and keep tabs of points scored.  A game lasts for 10 minutes, before the points are counted and the two teams change ends.  Each match is made up of 5 games in total.

Safety

All equipment has been specifically designed with safety paramount.  Each arrow end point consists of a round rubber tip that absorbs much of the force upon impact.  The bows are able to withstand considerable duress during use due to resilient materials within.  Any person entering the Battlezone must wear a safety mask at all times, thus preventing any potential for injury to the eye area.  Arm and finger guards are also provided to every player.

Combinations

Booking your place is subject to availability.  Adults over the age of 18 only may take part – this activity is not suitable for children.  You also have full flexibility to change your group size any time up to final payment. We just need an idea of numbers before you book.
